Lilly Pulitzer Summer 2013

 Monday, April 29, 2013

Lilly Pulitzer unveiled its Summer 2013 catalog today and I wanted to share some of my favorite looks.

Dionne Dress
The Dionne dress retails for $168 and is a cotton dress. The waist of the skirt portion is elastic and the pattern even glows in the dark!

Wakely Top
The Wakely top is just your standard tube top for $68 with a little ruffle by the chest. I am loving this rich print in Turquoise Lets Cha Cha!

Capricia Dress
I love the classic shift cut of the Capricia dress. The lace overlay makes this dress modern as well as the contrasting hem.

Shiloh Dress
I am obsessed with the green patterned lace on the Shiloh Dress. The detailing on the top is so intricate and beautiful and I have never seen such Lilly do a lace print before!

Do you have any favorites from the new summer 2013 Lilly collection?

Review:: Rovis & The Bean Monogrammed Otterbox

 Friday, April 26, 2013

Happy Friday! I have a very special review today. About two months ago I bought an iPhone 5 after months of wrestling with my droid. I couldnt be happier! When it came down to finding the perfect case for my new iPhone I turned to Rovis & The Bean.

Rovis & The Bean is one of my favorite monogrammed shops on the internet. Started by the wonderful Lauren Rosenfeldt, the site not only caters to monogram lovers like myself but also to working moms who just want to spoil their kids!

Behold! My new Rovis & The Bean Monogrammed Otterbox case:

The quality of the otterbox is amazing. Rovis & The Bean shipped very fast for a customized product and I could not be happier with the monogram design.

It was so hard to choose which monogram style I wanted. The store features over 75 different styles, each which can be customized in so many ways. The possibilities are endless! Before deciding on my chevron style I was choosing between these gorgeous cases:

The otterbox cases sell for $59 which I think is more than a fair case for not only the superb otterbox quality but the amazing monograms that Rovis & The Bean provides. These make excellent gifts and I have recieved so many compliments on my case to date. Since I use my iPhone all day every day it is really important to me to find a good case to display it in. The otterbox from Rovis & The Bean is perfect!

Besides selling these amazing cases Rovis & The Bean has some truly to die for products!

Thursday Treasures! 5 Picks for the Week

 Thursday, April 25, 2013

Happy Thursday! I decided today I would post five products I am loving this week.

Thursday Treasures

1. I have to credit my roommate for hooking me on Buxom lip gloss. These Bare Minerals Big & Healthy lip glosses not only come in the prettiest colors but they actually slightly plump up your lip. The lip gloss tingles when you put it on and I think the quality of the product is fantastic. At $18 these lip glosses arent exactly cheap but they are well worth the price.
2. This peach modcloth dress is simple and elegant. I am always looking for sundresses that can be used in a variety of occasions. This dress could be business casual with a blazer or could even hit the beach. The ruffle is feminine and the v-neck neckline is figure flattering.
3. Francescas has some of the cutest jewelry this summer and this necklace is no exception. I am loving the bulky but still pretty necklace and the rich blu stones.
4. In the summer I live in my Jack Rogers sandals. These Georgina jelly sandals will match with everything and are a fraction of the cost compared to a hamptons pair. I love the georgina style and might be picking these up very soon!
5. This summer I will be living in NYC and I find that a good crossbody is a staple for my on-the-run style. I like how this bag could be a shoulder style or crossbody and the cute bow and stud decoration is a cute addition to my wardrobe.

What are you loving this week?

Review: Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream

 Wednesday, April 24, 2013

Hello Lovely readers! I am so sorry for the hiatus on my blog lately. I am excited to be back and want to share one of my new favorite products.

I was in the drugstore a couple days ago and picked up a tube of Burt's Bees Coconut Foot cream.

Its just starting to get nice out where I am and I have been breaking out my new summer sandals only to realize that my feet were in much need of rehydration. I know talking about feet isn't the most pleasant conversation but sometimes you have to share the love of a product that cures dry skin in the summer months!

I bought a small tube of the product (20g or .75 oz) on a whim. I have used Burt's Bees products before but I have found them to be somewhat inconsistant and expensive for almost commodity products. For foot cream this is no commodity! The coconut cream works magically and I am so glad I stumbled upon it!

Consistency wise this is a very messy product. The cream is like a very thick vaseline and is somewhat greasy.

I just wanted to share this little review just in time for sandal season! Have a lovely day!
